audio CC partners with Rubicon Project to buy audio advertising campaigns programmatically

audio CC, an innovative technology partner in the radio and audio sector, today announced its integration with Rubicon Project, the global exchange for advertising, to buy programmatic audio advertising campaigns.

audio CC is a German-based company that was originally founded to facilitate the planning and buying of radio inventory at scale. More recently, the company has developed a digital audio focused DSP business and will be buying digital audio programmatically on behalf of its agency and advertiser partners.

Rubicon Project is the first exchange partner to integrate with audio CC’s DSP. With this partnership in place, advertisers will gain access to inventory provided by Rubicon Project’s audio seller partners, which include global music streaming platforms, digital audio advertising platforms and more.

Digital audio’s inception as a programmatic format only occured in the last two years, and as such the media buying environment will be 100 % private market places (PMPs), providing further safety, transparency and quality to this increasingly popular advertising format.
